Blue Jay Coffees

Tyra is my daily barista and she always makes my drink perfectly with outstanding customer service. Her positivity always brightens up my morning and starts my day off right. I love the variety of drinks and affordable prices at Blue Jays, favorite drive through in the area!

I have been coming to this coffee shop since it first opened with the awesome owner Jerrick. Since then the staff, service and drinks have been top notch!! I can’t say enough about Tyra and Adalee who seems to have become my go-to baristas. Gotta love a coffee shop that has an actual espresso machine and not just a machine that does all of the work, I really do think you taste a difference in the drinks!! Another plus is owning The Local means another location to get the great drinks and service!

This has been the go-to place for our coffee drinks for the last couple of years. The staff are always, and I do mean every day, cheerful and friendly. Tyra is our regular in the mornings and she is awesome and her lattes are always amazing! Point of fact, they are all great baristas. No automated pulls either- they do it themselves and crush it every time. Try 'em. I can promise you won't be disappointed.

Ordered online,; didn't realize there was 2 locations i went to the new location close to Arlington in Gladstone and the Barista called boss to see if she could help a gal on the way to work. Got approval to make my drink and it was one of the smoothest, best cold brews I've ever had! Definitely going back when I can!

We started coming to Blue Jay’s because they are one of the few local coffee shops that carry the Lotus energy brand. But today we were served by Addi (sorry if I spelled that wrong) and she was PHENOMENAL! You could tell she loves her job, she was so patient, friendly, and efficient. I haven’t seen such genuine and great service in a while. Blue Jay’s is very lucky to have her! Also, our drinks were tasty, as always.

Darci helped me out today and she was fantastic. I asked for a drink that wasn't on the menu and I felt so bad about that. She went OUT OF HER WAY TO CALL HER BOSS TO GET ME MY COFFEE. I am so grateful she went through the effort to get me what I wanted, even though I told her to make me whatever is easiest. Love love love this place. A sweet little spot that takes you by surprise! A great drive through coffee option that offers locally sourced bagels, beans, and other goods. It’s a small business working to support other small business, while working to create community with their “Free donut Fridays” and other small tokens of gratitude like a chocolate covered coffee bean. Tyra was working when I drove through with my pup, and her cheery spirit, kindness and service really turned our day around. I only ordered a mocha, but will be a happy returning customer!

One of my absolute favorite places to get coffee. The only thing I would recommend is bringing your own straw. I really appreciate them going to straws that will help the turtles but, unfortunately they aren’t strong enough to enjoy the wonderful drink.
